Other option for choice control drop down list

The choice single and choice multi controls have an "Allow a fill-in option" which automatically adds an "other" selection to the choices presented to the user.

This is only available if the choices are displayed as radio buttons.

Could we also make it available if choices are presented in a drop-down list?
