Default value feature for multiple choice fields

Much like other form controls, it would be great if we could select a default value for the multiple choice control (checkboxes).

I have a use case where I'd like to be able to use multiple choice control responses in the initial form to pre-populate a multiple choice control in a subsequent approval form.

    Hi,

Great news! The Choice-Multiple control now supports the default value. For more information, please refer to the help content.

Thank you very much for posting your feedback for our review. At this time, we will not be adding this request to the near-term backlog, due to low votes and as we are focused on other highly requested initiatives, such as styling, repeating sections, etc. We reevaluate requests every quarter and will reach out if priorities change. Please keep the feedback coming as it is critical for our longer-term planning.

I was about to post something like this, so instead I've voted for this one. It would be helpful if you could set an "Option label" and "Option value" for a single-choice or multiple-choice control, as is currently possible in the Data Lookup control. Sometimes, for example, a single- or multiple-choice control might have a list of employees that is not able to be presented via Data Lookup, and while the choices seen by the user may be the employees' names, you may want the actual value of the selection to be the employee's email address. Or, another example, sometimes the choices are rather wordy and it would be nice if the value of the selection could be a kind of "shorthand" for what was selected.
