It will benefit our users to be able to edit the repeating section once a form is submitted. We use the repeating section in a form that must be reviewed and approved. The reviewer cannot edit the data entered in the repeating section. If the input data needs to be edited by the reviewer, the only option is to return the form and request the initiator to edit and resubmit it.
hi @Guest ,
We’ve upgraded the Repeating section usability in Task forms when using Nintex Form as the start event. Task form's repeating section can now be auto populated with data from the previous form submission and assignees of the task form now can modify this start form data or add new data in the task forms. This capability also allows to populate Start Forms repeating section too from a source like Datalookup or Tables.
What’s New?
Dynamic default number of rows– To determine the number of rows based the Repeating section in the start form, other task forms in the workflow, data lookup or Nintex reference table data
Ability to add and remove rows as well as update data before approval of task.
Watch this video demonstration and view help article to see how to set it up and a use case demonstration.
Great news! Thanks for the update.
Hello everyone, I'm excited to share that we've begun designing the solution for task forms when start events involve NAC and SharePoint forms.
Any updates on this feature?
Please add this function, it is super useful and necessary in many processes.
This would be very helpfull. We are migrating from SharePoint OnPremise to Nintex Automation Cloud and there is no way to Migrate Workflows with Repeating Sections, because we need every time to edit this values again.
Thanks for submitting the idea, Adrian. I have this idea up for voting, which will help us prioritise this feature in the backlog.
