Choice - Multi value set default values Merged

Currently there is no option to set default value nor set value of a Choice - Multiple control via Rule. I have a large set of choice, say 100+ of items of different category, I need to pre-checked items of certain categories per requirement.

If we don't have this Set Default option, we have to painfully create a rule for each items (individual checkbox) and create about 1-3 rules per items (there are hundreds of them).
