Configure the welcome email

It would be great it the welcome email could be configured, or even disabled. Most of our users don't know what Nintex is, so when they receive this email they question where it's come from and what it's for. If it could be configured, to add a different logo in or change the text that would be very useful. Alternatively if there was an option to switch it off completely, that may also be useful.

The ability to disable welcome emails has now been released. Please let me know if you have any additional feedback on this.

In today's age of phishing attacks, it would be ideal to allow us to disable this email. One client has had extra activity with their helpdesk due to users asking about it. From an organizational perspective, this is costing money to manage that can be avoided.

As an interim solution, it would be good to NOT include these bullet points when people are assigned the participant role since they cannot do any of these functions:

    • Configuring and managing workflows
    • Creating Workflow Connections
    • Administration for Nintex Workflow Cloud

It just causes confusion to users and support tickets to IT when people find out that they cannot create a workflow. And like Anonymous said, these e-mails have caused confusion with people thinking the e-mails are a phishing scam.

Have had to completely drop NWC authenticated forms because of the welcome email. That is being treated as phishing, meaning the user reports it to security, or marks it as a reported threat so any future emails get automatically removed making the form usage zero. Most frustrating and a huge task to reset to alternative forms, and is the only way to ensure adoption of a form driven process. Totally agree that customisation or removal or the ability to remove the welcome email is critical.
