When an item or file is deleted in SPO or deletion of files
Please create the following in NAC for SPO:
Start event for when an item is deleted from a list.
Start event for when a file is deleted from a library.
Action for SPO that allows deletion of a file(s).
Note: Power Automate offers all three of these commands.
Thank you very much for posting your feedback for our review. At this time, we will not be adding this request to the near-term backlog, as we are focused on other highly requested features. However, we reevaluate requests every quarter and will reach out if priorities change.
This would be handy for the ability to remove signatures that have to be stored in a file structure for DocGen and then run a "Delete File" Action that removes that file from the repository (Sharepoint) so that people's physical signatures are not being stored indefinitely. Could also use this for Licence Photo storage as well - storing them only for pulling into DocGen and then deleting them once the document is generated preventing licences from being stored for no other reason than to generate the document where the photo is being stored. Using Power-Automate is not ideal as it may delete signatures that are still needed for the DocGen workflow to run.
What I'd like to see is a function to Delete a file in an SPO document library. Nintex can store a file but it can't delete them.
