We need the ability to save a file that is part of NAC workflow (eg form file upload control or file output from document generation action) to be saved to an on-premise file share.
We can do this with Power Automate and their File System connector using their On-Prem data gateway. It would be good to be able to avoid using Power Automate and do this functionality with Nintex natively.
@Guest
It is targeted for early next quarter
This is already possible using actions in a workflow to store the attachments.
Will the saving attachment from NAC to SharePoint on Premises be available soon?
If we use SharePoint on Cloud, will we be able to save the attachment from NAC in the SharePoint on Cloud?
@Guest Definitely something I will look to include as part of any new file actions. We have some new Salesforce File actions coming soon and we made sure there was the ability to rename the file in those actions.
Hi Leigh,
excited to see this moved to the planned stage and on the near term roadmap, along with the merged idea for sharepoint on-premise.
For product development for this feature, when saving a file from a NAC workflow to a fileshare it would be very helpful to be able to set the filename of the object (ie rename the file object before or when saving).
As an example when there is a form where the form submitter can attach a file and we want to save that to a file share, the filename of the attached file can often be randon especially when uploaded/attached from a phone.
Thank you for your feedback. This is currently Under Review, there is no date at this stage but it is being assessed and we will look update this ticket when it is confirmed planned.
